dear 2-wheelin comrades, I live in a small town so unfortunate stories like this make front page headlines. Anyway, a fellow biker is now ridin' in Heaven after an accident here yesterday. As usual he was ridin' along in his lane and a pickup truck made a turn right in front of the biker and the poor guy slammed right into the truck. The pickup driver is quoted saying (you guessed it)..."I never even saw him...the sun was in my eyes. As oit turned out it was approaching sundown, the biker was heading east and the trucker west, right into the sun.. IF YOU ARE DRIVING AT SUNDOWN , ESPECIALLY IF THE SUN IS AT YOUR BACK, IT'S IN THE EYES OF DRIVERS COMING TOWARD YOU. BE CAREFUL.
